Lucy Liu is a voice actress and director. She's also an actress. Beautiful, intelligent and talented actress, she is an inspiration to Asian actors who want to become big names in Hollywood. In the wake of a number of first performances in popular shows she gained fame after joining the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. Following a dramatic rise in her popularity, she landed roles on big screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. At the same time, she was also in leading roles in several film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was able to voice prominent characters in animation films such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia as well as other smaller-screen characters, failed to achieve any kind of success.
