King Von

KingKing Von (real real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett) was born on August 9 of 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Bennett and Taesha. Three siblings belonged to his mother, and six of his half-siblings are through his dad. His father spent a lot of time locked up in jail, so Bennett was mostly reared by his mother. At the age of 11, Bennett's father was shot and later killed. Bennett went on to spend his 16th year inside a prison. The incident marked the start of an ongoing series of confrontations with police. He was awarded college credit at South Suburban College. Following further legal issues, Bennett tried to make the right decision and return to his career in music. He collaborated often along with Lil Durk. A posthumous album, "What It Means to be King" came out in March 2022.
